Do you offer direct billing to insurance? ↓
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). While I do not offer direct billing, most extended health plans in BC cover RCC services. I provide a detailed receipt after each session that you can submit to your provider for reimbursement.
What is your cancellation policy? ↓
I require 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. This allows me to offer the time slot to other clients on the waitlist. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to the full session fee.
Are sessions available in Portuguese? ↓
Yes. Having practiced for 17 years in both Brazil and Canada, I offer full therapeutic services in Portuguese for those who feel more comfortable communicating in their native language.
What is the CVAP program? ↓
The Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) provides financial assistance for victims of crime in BC. As a registered provider, I can accept CVAP funding for your sessions once your claim has been approved.
How does a virtual session work? ↓
Sessions are conducted through JaneApp's secure, PHIPA/PIPEDA-compliant video platform. You will receive a link via email before your session; simply click it from a private space using your computer or mobile device.
